WConnecta 2019: the Biggest Transport Networking Event in Europe is Back
Brussels, May 2, 2019 - WConnecta is not a conventional fair or congress. It is a work seminar in an innovative format, designed for road transport and logistics professionals to discover new customers and collaborators.
An expected 1,000 attendees, the best professionals in road freight transport, will come together at the Barcelona International Convention Centre this October 18th all in the same space; to make business deals in one single day that would take months to complete otherwise.
WConnecta will remain faithful to its speed networking based format; quick interviews that place the participant in front of a different potential collaborator every 7 minutes. Also, once again this year, we will have the Cargo Area, where logistic operators and companies offering the cargo in Europe will have a private space to carry out 15-minute interviews, which were previously scheduled, with carriers interested in collaborating with them.
This event, which has turned into the leading sector event, celebrates its tenth anniversary this year, an edition that also coincides with the first one that takes place under the umbrella of the Alpega Group, who in 2018 has acquired the Wtransnet freight exchange, promoter of the event since 2009.
Without altering its fundamental basis, on this occasion WConnecta will have the presence of many more companies, which are part of the Alpega network through its three exchanges, namely 123Cargo, Teleroute and Wtransnet.
Fabrice Maquignon, CEO, Alpega: "It is impressive to see how WConnecta is able to bring transport companies together in the same space and help them do more business with each other, making collaboration the best asset for the sector's effectiveness."
It is now possible to register for WConnecta through the website, with a 10% discount for advance purchase only until June 26.
